Is this a subscription fee?

Yes. 'Senior Stylist' is a premium subscription service. By subscribing, you gain exclusive access to verified, industry-leading professionals who are otherwise difficult to book. Your subscription fee ensures that these experts are available to provide high-quality consultations when you need them, rather than relying on unverified forums or generic search results.

Billing & Subscriptions

Can I get a refund for unused consultations?

To ensure our Senior Stylists remain available for active clients, our subscriptions operate on a monthly "use-it-or-lose-it" basis. Unused consultation credits expire at the end of your billing cycle and do not roll over. We generally do not offer refunds for partial months or unused credits, as per the App Store and Google Play standard policies.

How do I upgrade or downgrade my plan?

You can change your plan tier at any time via the subscription settings on your device (same path as cancellation above). Changes will take effect at the start of your next billing cycle.

How do I cancel my subscription?

You have full control over your subscription directly through your phone's settings. Because your payment is processed securely by Apple or Google, we cannot cancel it for you.

iPhone: Go to Settings > [Your Name] > Subscriptions > Senior Stylist > Cancel.
Android: Open Google Play > Profile Icon > Payments & Subscriptions > Subscriptions > Senior Stylist > Cancel.

You can cancel at any time, and you will retain access until the end of your current billing period.

The Service & Consultations

Who are the Stylists? Are they qualified?

We are exclusively a platform for Senior Stylists. We do not allow juniors or apprentices to offer consultations. Every professional on our platform has been vetted to ensure they hold the necessary senior-level qualifications (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent) and have a minimum of 10 years of commercial experience.

Can the Stylist fix my hair via the app?

Our Stylists provide professional consultation, diagnosis, and analysis. They can tell you exactly what is wrong, what products to use, and give you technical instructions to show your local hairdresser. They cannot physically cut or colour your hair through the screen. Think of it as a "Tele-Health" appointment for your hair.

What if I am unhappy with the consultation?

We connect you with independent professionals. While we vet for qualifications, hair is personal. If you are unsatisfied with a consultation, please use the in-app rating system to leave honest feedback. This helps the community and affects the Stylist's visibility. Please note: As these are independent contractors, 'Senior Stylist' does not offer guarantees on the outcome of the consultation provided.

Are my photos private?

Yes. You retain ownership of all photos you upload. By uploading them, you grant us a license strictly to show them to your chosen Stylist for the sole purpose of the consultation. We take data privacy seriously and do not sell your personal photos to third parties.

Technical Support

The video call isn't connecting. What should I do?

Please ensure you have granted the App permission to access your Camera and Microphone in your phone's settings. Also, check that you have a stable internet connection. If issues persist, try restarting the App.

How do I delete my account?

You can request account deletion directly within the App settings under "Profile > Privacy". Please note that deleting your account does not automatically cancel your subscription; you must still cancel via the App Store/Google Play to stop future billing.
